Last year, Anna and Matt reached out to me to photograph their wedding. We instantly connected and had their engagement session last fall. I always encourage my couples to make their engagement session special to them. This can mean so many different things to everyone. Some couples like to revisit a popular date night spot, where they first met, or explore somewhere new!

We started Anna and Matt’s engagement session at McCleary’s Pub, which was a place that held a lot of happy memories for them. They shared a drink and lots of laughs. Afterwards, we walked across the street from McCleary’s and ended up at the riverfront. After taking advantage of the gorgeous sunlight pouring through the trees, we then drove just a few minutes to Chickies Rock to take some photos overlooking the river. The view was absolutely gorgeous. I will admit, my legs were a little shaky being that high up, but it was so worth it. (And I’ll probably do it again!)
I am so excited to celebrate with Anna and Matt at Melhorn Manor this spring. I know we’re going to have so much fun celebrating their love.
